Purpose

Create, Edit, and Develop Sample-Based Roland Fantom Banks

Basic Functions

• All Roland Fantom models are supported - Fantom-S, Fantom-X, Fantom-XR rack, and Fantom-G.
• Every Fantom Bank is represented by a Fantom document, a single screen that shows all the objects in the Bank.
• View and Edit Patchs, Tones within Patches, Multisamples, Samples within Multisamples, and Patches within the Parts in the Performances.
• Audition Samples and entire Multisamples with the internal sound players.
• View Multisample mapping on a color-coded keyboard and view sample Wave graphics on onscreen Wave viewer.
• Multi-View Interface; select the View most necessary for you. Choose from Full View, Patch/Tone/Multisample, Patch/Multisample/Sample, "Four Corners", and Performance/Part/Patch

Advanced Functions

• Import external sampler formats (such as Kontakt, EXS24, Giga, etc. - almost all professional formats are supported.) into a Fantom document. (Not all files can be imported, see the Import Formats page for a complete and detailed list.)
• Edit samples using your selected external editor (e.g. SoundForge, Peak, Audition, other).
• Edit entire Multisamples in an external software sampler (e.g. Kontakt).
• Advanced mapping options when importing single samples (WAVE, AIFF, CAF, other).
• Editors for every object allow viewing and editing of most every parameter.
• Objects can be moved to other Banks (Fantom Documents).
• Rename any Object allowed for naming by the Fantom.
• Simple AutoSampler allows importing of internal (computer) or external (hardware) gear

• Win 32-bit Maximum: Windows 11
• Win 32-bit Minimum: Windows XP SP3

Notes: floppy disk support only exists in 32-bit versions, and on WinXP. A Windows app works better as 64-bit on Windows versions 10 and up. Mac 64-bit apps are Intel, not Apple Silicon-native, but run on Rosetta 2 perfectly and transparantly.

Update Policy

• All Updates within an app-class are free; you can update from the program itself, from the Registration Email (64-bit only, the link always represents the latest public version) or check the manual for the location of the Update Area (32-bit only).
• Exception: Updating from 32-bit to 64-bit when all else is equal is a $29.95 charge.
